Seminar: Jaimie Matzko, Biodiversity in your Landscape: Why it Matters

Speakers
Jaimie Matzko is currently Biodiversity Program Specialist at Discover Life in America. She has been a naturalist and educator in the Smoky Mountains for over 20 years. She is a University of TN graduate with a degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Her hobbies include gardening, nature photography, bird-watching and hiking. She has been working to replace ornamental and invasive plants with native species on her property in Cosby, TN and loves creating habitat for beneficial insects, birds and other wildlife.
Jaimie currently works for Discover Life in America and is passionate about sharing their mission to connect communities and scientists in discovering, understanding, and conserving the natural world.
Seminar
