One-flowered Fiddleleaf
Hydrolea uniflora
A species of wetlands that is occasionally found in wet ditches and lake shores. The flowers are a distinct
blue color that really pops among the foliage. Each flower is about a half-inch in diameter and emerge from
the axils of the upper leaves. Mainly found in the western half of the state, it is not a very common species,
but can occur in large colonies in favored locations.
