Small Bluet
Houstonia pusilla
These tiny annuals often form large drifts of blooms across lawns and fields in springtime. One of the smaller
Houstonia species, it can be distinguished from other blue-flowering ones by its purple eye (the others have
yellow or white.) A very common species, it is found throughout Tennessee.
